You will find some staircases, and at the of them there's a cop, kill the cop and sniper everybody you can see. When you get in the uncle dave level, follow the corridor until you find a passage to your left, covered by bushes, go there. The uncle dave's gift can be easily achieved with a sniper. I did this for about 20 minutes, until I had almost full health.įor some specific errands: The autograph errand can be cheesed by going to your left after entering the shopping, nearby the staircase, drop a grenade and ready your machine gun to shoot anything that uses the staircase. The cop respawned, ready to get pistol sniped again. ![]() After that, I leave the shopping and immediately enter it again. I sniped the cop with a pistol and rushed there to grab any food (if any dropped). Inside the shopping, there was a cop pretty far from me. If you ever get into something like that, remember that most enemies drop food. If I tried to leave the shopping, a cop and a civilian were outside, ready to kill me. If I tried to go anywhere in the shopping, one or two shots were enough to kill me. Remember that I said I struggled with the autograph errand? It's because I got into the shopping with about 15 HP. Now, how to get over a hard moment without health. My medkit advice was only something I did, so you don't need to strictly follow this advice. Yes, I know they don't heal 50 HO, but considering how much food the enemies drop, you might waste the medkit, considering food might be able to heal the little HP left to 100 HP. When you find a medkit, only use it if you have <50 HP, so you won't waste it. When you kill someone, it have a high chance to drop food. Another errand I struggled was the autograph errand, not because of ammo, but because of health (I'll explain it later). Both moments are hard because you have no weapons, but pissing is harder, since you need to kill a bunch of dudes with scarce ammo. The hardest moments in the game are the first few moments in monday and pissing on your dad on wednesday. The earliest sawed off shotgun I know is in wednesday, in the right side of the police station, inside a bush. If you don't have it yet / have no ammo, use the machine gun. ![]() Rather than red light, a DVD laser uses a shorter infrared light to store more data on the same amount of space as a CD. The Digital Versatile Disc, or Digital Video Disc (DVD) is essentially a CD that uses a different kind of laser technology. ![]() Today, a standard CD can store 700MB of data. They were originally created exclusively to store sound recordings but have evolved to encompass data storage. CDs were developed by SONY and Philips in 1979 and arrived at market in 1982. Originating from the LaserDisc, the compact disc (CD) is smaller and stores less data. It is not possible to store typical hard drive data on these discs, but it is feasible to store video and image data with greater quality than VHS tapes. This type of disc is a home video format and the first commercial optical disc storage medium. LaserDisc technology was pioneered in 1958, although it wasn’t available on the market until 1978. Today, hard drives are smaller, cheaper, faster and can store more data. The first hard disk drive stored roughly 120,000 times more data than IBM’s RAMAC at 500GB. Since the introduction of the 305 RAMAC, hard drives have been under constant improvement. The 305 RAMAC stored its data on 50 24 inch magnetic disks. The first hard drive, unveiled by IBM in 1956, was a revolution in data storage, capable of reserving up to 4.4MB. The average capacity of a floppy disk is around 1.44MB. ![]() Since then, floppy disks have been created smaller but with more data storage. In 1973, a disk of the same size was created with a storage capacity of 256kB and the ability to write new data. The first floppy disk was introduced in 1969 and was a read-only 8 inch disk capable of storing 80kB of data. ![]() It was used to supply the IBM 650 with 10,000 characters of main memory. One of IBM’s earliest computers, the IBM 650, was one of the first computers to utilize a magnetic drum. These drums were 16 inches long and spun at a rate of 12,500 revolutions per minute. Magnetic drums were commonly used in computers as the main working memory, giving computers the name “drum machines” from the 1950s to 1960s. Compact Cassettes were used to store data in a few computers and remained popular until the late 1980s. A typical 90-minute cassette could store close to 700kB to 1MB of data per side of the tape. The Compact Cassette was introduced by Philips in 1963 as a type of magnetic tape, although it didn’t gain popularity until the 1970s. Magnetic tape was the most popular means of storing data until the mid 1980s, since a single roll could store 1TB, or as much data as 10,000 punch cards. Made of magnetizable coating on a long, thin strip of plastic, magnetic tapes allowed unmatched amounts of data to be created, stored and rapidly accessed. Introduced in the 1950s, magnetic tape revolutionalized the broadcast and recording industries. The original Selectron tube measured 10 inches and could store 4096 bits but was expensive to build and therefore replaced in the market by the widely available core memory. In 1946 RCA began developing the Selectron tube-an early form of random access storage that was never produced in a commercially viable form. When folded, punch tape can store up to a few dozen kilobytes-much more data than punch cards. Each row on the strip represents a single character, yet considerably more data can be stored by creating a fanfold. Punch tape consists of a long strip of paper in which holes are punched to store data. Punched tape was first used in 1846 by inventor of the fax machine, Alexander Bain. In fact, punch cards were used to store settings for various machines and had a capacity of 960 bits. The punch card is a perforated paper loop used to store patterns rather than actual data. The oldest known form of data storage, the punch card, was created by Basile Bouchon in 1725. Check out our timeline of data storage history for storage systems of the past and present, as well as those predicted for the future. Before today’s data storage, came a variety of other storage gadgets. What’s more, is that these and other methods of data storage are constantly evolving and haven’t always been efficient or of superior storage capacity. You might also take for granted how many pictures you can keep on a CD, or you may not always think about how important your hard drive is in reserving critical information. As you pull files from your computer to store on your flash drive, you probably overlook the convenience and speed this device provides in storing data. iPad Essentials: Speak Screen and Speech Options i. Therefore, it is essential to practice typing regularly to improve your speed and accuracy. Other factors such as accuracy, posture, and typing technique also play a significant role in determining your typing speed. It is important to note that keystrokes per hour is not the only factor that determines your typing speed. For instance, a professional typist can type up to 80 words per minute, which is equivalent to 16,000 keystrokes per hour. However, this can vary depending on the individual’s experience and typing skills. The average typing speed is around 40 words per minute (wpm), which translates to approximately 8000 keystrokes per hour. To calculate the keystrokes per hour, you can use software or online typing tests that record the number of keystrokes you type within a specified time frame. This measure is often used as a benchmark to evaluate the typing speed of an individual. Keystrokes per hour is a measure of how many keys you can press on your keyboard within an hour. |
